Dr. Sonia Rawat is a medical graduate from MGM medical college Indore (M.P). She did her training at RML hospital New Delhi in general medicine and cardiology and later went to England under the overseas doctors training scheme. She was trained in England between 1996 to 1999 in general medicine, diabetes care elderly, medicine gastroenterology, respiratory medicine. She obtained her membership from royal college of physicians in 1998. She worked in general medicine diabetes and non invasive cardiology between 1999 to 2008 at university teaching hospital in Salford. She was a problem based learning tutor for medical students at the.
University of Manchester Dr Rawat joined British general practise between 2008 till 2014 when again she was responsible for the awareness and treatment if various diseases in the British population. Dr Rawat came back to India and worked at specialist clinic in Rajouri Garden from 2015 Jan till 2016 July. She later joined sir Gangaram hospital in July 2016 till date as a director of department of preventive health and wellness. She also have awareness camps towards disease prevention and have linked up with yoga and meditation, How to stay disease free is one of the major preventive goals that we are catering to. Trigeminal neuralgia is unilateral, paroxysmal attacks of pain lasting for less than 1 second to 2 mins.
